After a long cold winter, Spring is finally here! Signs of Spring are popping up everywhere…..Daffodils are blooming, Magnolia trees are in bloom, birds are chirping, and warmer days are finally here!

Spring is the season of new beginnings, as flowers begin to bloom again, baby animals are born, and crops are growing again.

Spring is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature!

This Spring, make sure to get outside and enjoy the nicer weather! Below is a list of suggestions for fun things to do this Spring:

  • Take a walk in the park and listen to the cheerful sound of birds chirping!
  • Visit your local Botanical Gardens and check out all the Spring flowers in bloom!
  • Visit the Zoo and see all the new baby animals!
  • Plan a picnic at a local park in your area!
  • Check out local art fairs in the park!
  • Go to a local baseball game and cheer on your favorite team!
  • Check out free live music concert series in the parks!
  • Take a drive out to the country and visit local farms!
  • Visit local farmer’s markets and buy some fresh local grown produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Join a friend for lunch at a local cafe that features patio seating.
  • Check out outdoor live theater musical performances.
  • Hike local trails.
  • Go for a bicycle ride on local bike trails.
  • Visit a Butterfly Exhibit and check out amazing varieties of butterflies.
  • Plant vegetables in your garden and enjoy fresh veggies for dinner every night.
  • Plant perennial flowers and plants and enjoy their return every Spring.
  • Plant annual flowers in your garden for added variety.
  • Enroll in an outdoors yoga class at a park.

  • Participate in local charity walks and support your favorite charities.

There are so many ways to enjoy the nicer Spring weather! Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and spend some time doing activities you enjoy!

  2. This list is amazing, we always love going to our local farmers markets, hiking in the national parks and enjoying staycations in this time of limited travel… You have added some more to DO’s to my list thank you for the inspiration.
